Directions
Varies according to individual need. Bulk Formulas can be prepared for Extracts, Capsules, Decoctions, Balsams, Plasters, Fomentations & many other uses. We encourage you to research information on the formula & preparation that works best for you. While we cannot cover every herbal preparation below is a few common methods.
Encapsulating - To fill capsule, simply take the two halves of a capsule apart (one in each hand), and push these halves into powder and toward each other, pressing the halves together again & at the same time compressing the powder. Small encapsulation products that help to capsule 50 herbs at one time are available.
Infusion or Tea - Use 1 teaspoon of cut herb per cup of distilled water. Bring water to a boil, remove from the heat source, then add the applicable amount of herb to the water. Cover & allow to steep for at least 20 minutes (longer for stronger tea). Strain the herb & let stand until cool enough to drink.
Fomentation - Soak a piece of gauze, Turkish towel or similar porous material in the infusion or decoction needed. Sometimes hot Apple Cider Vinegar is used. Cool until the material is just bearable. Cover with plastic or oil cloth to prevent the liquid from soaking bed clothes, etc. Keep damp & change periodically.
Store in a cool, dry place. Keep out of reach of children. Recycle after use. Natural color variation may occur. This product is not to be relabeled or repackaged.

Are there synthetic Vitamins added to Vitalerbs?
There are no synthetic vitamins in Vitalerbs! Vitalerbs is made from Natural Whole foods. Folate derives its name from the Latin word folium which means leaf. Leafy vegetables are a principal source of folic acid. Christopher's Original Formulas Vitalerbs contains many whole foods that contain Folic Acid like, Beet Root, Alfalfa, Nutritional Yeast, Purple Dulse etc…
On average beets can contribute 100 to 150 micrograms of folic acid. Nutritional Yeast & Purple Dulse are also rich in vitamins, especially the B-complex vitamins, which is also an excellent source of folic acid. Alfalfa contains a high concentration of Vitamins A, B1, B2, B6, B12, C, D, E and K and also Niacin, Biotin, Pantothenic Acid, Biotin and Folic Acid. It is also rich in the following minerals: Boron, Calcium, Chlorine, Cobalt, Copper, Iron, Magnesium, Manganese, Molybdenum, Phosphorus, Potassium, Sulfur and also some trace minerals.
As for The Ascorbic acid (Vitamin C): Ascorbic acid is available in many fruits and vegetables and is present in substantial amounts in the seed, fruit of the rose, or the rosehip. Rosehips contain as much as 50 percent more ascorbic acid than any other rose. So in Vitalerbs he gets his Ascorbic acid (Vit C) from Rosehips.
